Phulax in ChatGPT, Claude and MCP clients

Add Phulax as a connector (remote MCP server, Streamable HTTP) with this URL:

In ChatGPT or Claude, add Phulax from the app or connector directory, or add a custom connector with the URL above (custom connectors can need a specific plan or developer mode in those apps). Any MCP client that supports OAuth works the same way.

The first time you use it, the app sends you to phulax.pro to sign in (or create a free account) and asks you to allow access. Phulax uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. The app never sees your password. Access tokens last one hour and refresh automatically; you can disconnect at any time from the app's connector settings.

Discovery: /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource, /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server. Clients can register dynamically (RFC 7591) or use a Client ID Metadata Document. Scope: phulax. Machine-readable summary: openapi.json, llms.txt.

• create_estimatesaves to your account

  Creates a new project in the user's Phulax account and generates an itemized construction cost estimate for it: materials with quantities, labor hours and cost by trade, equipment, permits, a phase timeline and an estimated total range. Covers US building, remodeling and repair jobs described in plain words; takes a text scope description and the job site ZIP code. Results are AI estimates, not quotes. Counts toward the plan's project limit and daily AI limit. Text only: estimates from uploaded plans, blueprints or photos (Bid Mode) are made on the Phulax website.

• list_projectsread only

  Lists the projects in the user's Phulax account (most recently updated first, up to 50) with id, status and estimate subtotal. The ids work with the other project tools.

• get_projectread only

  Returns one Phulax project with its saved estimate: totals, labor by trade, top materials, equipment, permits and phase timeline, plus a link to open it in Phulax.

• estimate_change_orderread only

  Prices a scope change on an existing Phulax project (materials + labor + 10% contingency) and returns a title, description, amount and cost breakdown. It is an estimate only: nothing is saved or sent. Counts toward the daily AI limit.

• ask_projectread only

  Answers a question about one Phulax project (sequencing, materials, codes, schedule, costs) using the project's saved estimate as context. Counts toward the daily AI limit.

• create_proposalsaves to your account

  Drafts a client proposal from a project's saved estimate and saves it as a DRAFT document in the user's Phulax account. It never sends anything; the user reviews, edits and sends it on the Phulax website. Account owners on plans that include documents only. Counts toward the daily AI limit.

• get_accountread only

  Shows the user's Phulax plan, projects used and left, and AI uses left today for connected apps.

Connected apps follow your plan's project limit (the Free plan includes one Design Build project and one Bid project). AI work from connected apps also has a daily limit per account, reset at midnight UTC:

Everything an app creates is saved in your account, so you can open it on phulax.pro and keep going. Every estimate is an AI-generated estimate, not a quote or a bid.

Phulax receives the job details you ask the app to send (for example a scope description and ZIP code) and stores the results in your account, the same as if you typed them on phulax.pro. We log which tool was called, when, and whether it worked, without the text of your requests. See the privacy policy and terms.
